International Exposure

International Exposure: Experiencing different cultures and traveling aboard and exposing yourself to different experiences abroad.

It is only when you intimately understand different cultures that your understanding deepens enough to see why people do things differently. Strong international skills include empathy towards different cultures.  This empathy can help you throughout life when working with people from different cultural backgrounds.   It is always good to travel (Before and after College or Trade school).  See the world, experience things, other cultures.  If all possible it is always a great idea to immerse yourself in foreign cultures and come back from your travels having ‘seen the world’, having done things.  This will help you make better decisions and also help you have a better perspective of your choices in your decision making.
