A mature sentiment not usually expressed by young people chasing bright lights and big dreams, but Shelton is honest and acknowledges that he will not become a college graduate without the help of scholarships.
For this reason, The H.O.P.E. Scholarship Initiative proudly inducts Nathaniel Shelton into our HOPE family as a 2012 H.O.P.E. Scholar and recipient of a $1,000 scholarship.
Howard University is an institution known for its commitment to community service and social activism.
