Word of the Day: Splendiferous

Word of the day: Splendiferous

By Syretta Jones

Splendiferous – Glorious, Delightful, Extraordinary, Beautiful

Have a splendiferous day is what I like to tell people. This goes back to the word for September 14, Joy. We choose what type of day we are going to have, what type of week and what type of life we are going to experience regardless of what we come up against. There is absolutely nothing wrong with hoping for and working towards the best. Decide to have a glorious attitude and a delightful day. Do you want to be the person that people tip toe around and hold things back from because of your attitude or do you want to be the person the people flock to because of your splendiferous character?

I’ll leave you with a couple of quotes to ponder about:

Life is a shipwreck but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. ~Voltaire

If you don’t think every day is a good day, just try missing one. ~Cavett Robert
