  1. Tough love; but the reality is that it is important for kids to know that it is not all smooth sailing after high school. It only gets tougher! As a newly independent individual, which is what most high school graduates strive to achieve, you have to become, if not already, self discipline and self motivated at work and in college. Just doing OK at work or passing in college will not be good enough, you will have to try harder and really be responsible for all your actions, inactions, decisions and choices you make from this point on. I really like the part of his speech about doing what you love and resisting doing what is easy. I also believe in dreaming big, working hard and thinking for yourself, that is resisting peer pressure to go astray from what you really like to do and capable of doing. All in all, really great speech!
